"The Kiwi Ears Division is a commendable first attempt at headphones from a company known for its IEMs. At $50, it offers an attractive package that combines comfort, an engaging sound signature, and respectable technical capabilities. The Division's appeal lies in its fun and enjoyable presentation, particularly for those who appreciate a warm, bass-forward sound. However, potential buyers should be aware of its tendency towards mid-bass bloat and a somewhat restrained treble, which may not suit all listening preferences or genres. "

"For a sub-$80 (under 1 million IDR) headphone aimed at monitoring/DJ use, I can see why it fits that purpose well. With a focus on punchy mid-bass, this headphone is perfect for fast-paced genres like EDM. The thick but fast sub-bass and short rumble indicate that sub-bass is not the main focus, making it well-suited for electronic music lovers. The natural and uncolored vocals are solid. Treble has decent power, and while it lacks micro-detail, it still works well for monitoring needs. Is this headphone worth buying? If you need a monitoring/DJ headphone with strong mid-bass and don’t prioritize technicalities or vocal clarity, then yes—it’s more than sufficient. Plus, it’s comfortable enough for long sessions."

"Division is undoubtedly one of the best choices within the $50 price segment, which is why I believe Kiwi Ears offered this at the most affordable price possible. Considering the convenience and sound quality, it makes perfect sense for someone with a budget of $50-60 to spend on a fun and engaging headphone. "

"To summarize, the Kiwi Ears Ellipse does nothing wrong at it’s price.
It has no flaws in it’s build quality, has very obviously been carefully and deliberately tuned by Kiwi Ears so that it would not look out of place in a home studio.
I have no problem in giving an extremely strong recommendation to what I believe is going to be the budget king of 2025."

“The ET142 is an excellent IEM with two distinct optional sound signatures. With the long nozzles, it delivers rich bass, slightly dark mids, and a nicely articulated, liquid-sounding treble, all with a lovely organic character. The short nozzles provide a more neutral tonal balance, and while the technical performance remains strong for the price, I personally find the long nozzles to create a more fascinating listening experience. That said, the nozzles provide added flexibility, and the ability to experiment with ear tips and nozzle combinations has the potential to be very rewarding.
Overall, the ET142—especially with the long nozzles—offers something special. There’s a certain magic to its presentation, and it comes highly recommended.“

"These are really cool hybrid headphones, which surprised me with their rich set and very technical and extremely balanced sound. They use a planar driver and a piezoelectric driver, which gives a very interesting sound at the output: detailed, clear, but with very deep bass and a nice warmth in the midrange. And the coolest thing is the ability to change the nozzles and customize the sound to your liking. If you want a warm and relaxed sound with an emphasis on bass frequencies, it's fine just use the short nozzles, and if you want a brighter, more energetic and detailed sound, it's fine just use the long nozzles.
And the package is really nice too the cable is of the highest quality, comfortable, plus this time there are a bunch of different ear cushions in the set. And the most important thing is that these headphones sit in your ears very comfortably, even if you listen to them for hours on end. All in all, if you're looking for headphones that can do everything from deep bass to quite detailed treble, then ET142 definitely deserve your attention. They'll suit both those who like to listen to music thoughtfully and analytically, and those who just want to get high on sound. "
