Tribrid IEM Configuratio

The Apevoix is a tribrid IEM featuring three independent types of drivers. A 10mm dynamic driver (DD) powers the bass, 4 balanced armature drivers (BA) delivers the mids and treble, while an all new bone conduction (BC) driver presents incredible texture to your music. A total of 6 drivers in a 4-way crossover network ensures your music is accurate, detailed, and rich.

Bone Conductor IEM

The Apevoix features a powerful new bone conduction driver that delivers an incredibly realistic sound. Using a 11mm latest generation of bone conduction driver, the Apevoix presents an entirely new listening experience by using contact-vibrations, rather than traditional acoustic tubes, to produce sound. The bone conductor targets the entire frequency range, with strong rumble in the bass and pristine texture in the trebles to enhance your music.

Detailed Precision in the Mids and Treble

Four balanced armatures are utilized to drive the mid and treble range. Two balanced armature focus on the midrange, ensuring a layered and lush midrange. The midrange has been tuned to be clean and natural, with a slight warmth to vocals. Two separate balanced armatures power the treble, focusing on excellent representation of the human’s perceived hearing response for detailed, yet natural upper frequencies. The treble has excellent imaging and presence for an accurate soundstage delivery.

10mm Dynamic Driver for a Powerful Bass

The Apevoix utilizes a new 10mm biocellulose composite diaphragm, which features an incredibly complex matrix network of fibers for a firm and responsive bass response. The dynamic driver is propelled by strong neodymium magnets to produce punchy and impact bass. The bass emphasizes sub-bass rumble with a strong low-mid presence for powerful kick bass and bass guitar reference.

Natural and Engaging Tonality

The Apevoix has been professionally tuned with a four-way crossover system to sound balanced and natural. With a mild low-mid bass tuning, the Apevoix is engaging and fun, perfect to enjoy hip-hop, pop, and rock genres, while the mids and treble are accurate enough to be used for professional studio monitoring.

Impressed me- eapecially in Gaming

Dont have much experience from Iems, but a lot with all types off headphones.
I can surely say that I had much better immersion in gaming than with my similarly priced open back headphones. Stage was deffinitely narrower with the Grits, but more detail and the environment felt more immense.
As for music, it took me a while to get used to the more analytic sound but as I said - this was my first pair.
There is no air pressure problem, and the bone conduction driver - at least for unexperienced me - got a fue tracks and vol settings to....notice it. But then, I said ''ahhh there it is'' ...
However I did have a problem with fitment - they are large! Need to check more tips.

Unique IEM

The bone conduction driver delivers a visceral bass experience like no other IEM. Imaging is good. The sound stage is vast!
Even though there are other IEMs in this price range with better tonal balance and detail retrieval, Apevoix Grit is still one of my favorites, easily competing with $500+ IEMs.
I hope Apevoix keeps on building more unique-sounding IEMs, unlike the majority of other brands choosing safe and boring sound profiles.

Spectacular representation of sound for this price range !!!!!

wasn't expecting much (for this price ....) but i was totally wrong !!!!
soundstage/spatiality of elements / cues across the stage 10 out of 10 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
bass response to die for !! totally of another level/much higher price range 10 out of 10 !!!!!!!!!!!!
in other words....for 220 dollars you get a spectacular (in of imaginary headstage) - multi dimensional surrounding sound representation that is not at all common at this price range.....Apevoix Grit is like hosting a party inside your brain .....the bone conductor implementation in this case works miracles particularly over the lower frequencies recreating a gigantic wall of sound while all the elements/cues from the recordings floating inside / out the periphery of your head.....it is for sure a treat for your ears and brain....such a vast surrounding sound experience ........personally i have heard this kind of sound reproduction in much more complicated implementations and much higher priced monitors......this new entry brand managed to create a winner here ,,,,a true specialist as far as Electronica/IDM/Hip hop /dance music genres goes......the bass response is tremendous from both quantity/quality points of view !!!! but the main star of the show gets to be the imaginary scene/stage recreated using Apevoix Grit........owning a number of hybrids/tribrids allready now this one had for sure a strong impact on me and thus it gets my absolutely and total reccomendation especially for this price........to be completely honest to you i personally havent heard anything like this one at this price.....and i seriously doubt regardless of the hard competion that you can find something that good for just 200 bucks..........i would have priced this set upon first audition at about 500 dollars easily....................
prepare your ears and brain for a party......cause this is what really Apevoix Grit is all about !!!! a party for your senses !!!!

Holy mother of God. These sound like they should cost a grand.

For starters, none of the pressure issue another reviewer mentioned for me. I have incredibly average ears, medium tips and typical shape canals, most tips fit me.

I also find the nozzles of the truthear zero too wide and uncomfortable. These are large but not uncomfortable.

They are huge. The cable's earloops needed to be slightly warmed with a hair dryer and bent tighter to loop around my (again incredibly average) ears.

Tips wise, the included worked well but I wanted something a little closer to my ear, so I went with the new BGVP copper nozzle tips. The included tips are just fine though. Dunu SS made them stick out a little far.

And holy crap, the 3d printed case is the nicest 3d printed thing I have EVER laid hands on. Like what the heck. It must have taken an hour to print on an ultra high end 3d printer. And it's so usable.

The iems look nice, are decently light and feel well made, despite how huge they are.

And the sound is the best part. The bone conductor is full range, and the whole thing is just unbelievably cohesive. Something like the plutus beast is aggressive but sounds like you can pick out each driver. There's no BA tamber, no separation between the bone conductor and the DD. I wouldn't call it "warm" because I hate warm sounding things. And it's quite aggressive. But it's insanely smooth. The bass hits so hard, but doesn't bleed into the kids. The clarity is superb, but never sharp. The instrument layering is excellent and natural. Vocals are equally natural across the board. And the weight to the bass from that bone conductor means that monster base songs are just hedonistic.

And the soundstage and imaging are just spectacular. I love huge soundstage and these are huge. You can pick out direction super well. Fresh reviews gave them a really high rating for esports gaming and I can confirm as an amateur that it's superb. Stuff like yosi horikawa is both insanely natural but spacious and has great directionality.

I genuinely can't find a fault with the sound. They are very bulky and I prefer smaller nozzles but they don't become egregious like the nozzles of the truthear crinacle zero's, and sometimes I do prefer a little more sharpness from treble (but I am a treble head who adores grado so take that for what you will)

This is spectacular. It truly dominates in the under $500 range. Buy it.

Warm, lush and detailed

I like the sound of the grit, its warm and natural tonality for like binary dynaquattro but with a more controled subbass, midbass is punchy, vivid lush vocals, detailed treble, this set has very good imaging and wide soundstage. There no pressure build up, it impossible for this set to have pressure build up issue since it has 3 massive big vent holes on the side which when you look closely you can see the drivers thru the vents. But the Grit has a large nozzle diameter just like the Juzear Butterfly and some might confuse pressure build up with nozzle discomfort, fortunatlely for me its niot an issue, i have use the grit for 5hrs straight with no pressure build up or nozzle discomfort.. im hook at the sound of this set, its like a middle ground between the binary dynaquattro and Dita Project M. 👍👍

Awful...

The air pressure build-up on these is the worst that I've ever experienced. It literally feels like these are trying to suck my brain out through my ears. Not only is this a comfort issue, but also a potential health hazard. I'm shocked that these were able to be released. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Also, the 3 pinhole vents on the back are only for eliminating driver flex on the dynamic driver. It doesn't offer any pressure relief of any kind. Just because something has a vent doesn't mean the vent is designed for pressure relief, regardless of what other reviews say. Some folks need to learn how engineering works.

Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback.

Personal factors such as the shape and size of your ear or the way the IEMs are inserted may contribute to the discomfort. You can try pulling on your earlobe to relieve the pressure in your ear or pull the IEMs out slightly, which may restore the sound. We also recommend trying a different set of fitting eartips to see if it resolves the issue.

We have also sent an email to follow up and will continue to monitor your case to provide an appropriate solution to resolve the issue.

Thank you for your time.
