A Classic Revisited
Aune is a pioneer brand with a huge range of desktop as well as portable audio gear. The latest X1s GT is a revamped version of their classic X1 series of desktop DAC/AMPs, the 8th generation of the same. It brings an improved PLL digital clock technology and also an ability to connect external digital audio clocks to the chain. We also get a fully balanced 4.4mm headphone output with the X1s GT.
PLL(Phase Locked Loop)Precise Clock Algorithm & External Clock Input
Aune X1s GT features PLL, a precise Phase Locked Loop digital clock algorithm that transfers appropriate frequency response data to the DAC. It maintains proper synchronization between all components in the audio chain. Aune has also featured a 10MHz external clock input port for connecting external digital clocks and exploring more possibilities in sound.
High-Resolution Decoder
Aune X1s GT is a high-fidelity audio decoder that supports high-resolution audio signal decoding. It can easily decode high-resolution 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512 natively via the USB input mode. Aune X1s GT is a powerhouse. It features an upgraded version for the classic B1 fully-discrete headphone amplifier circuit. It is more than capable of providing you with enough juice to power your demanding headphones with ease. With the balanced 4.4mm headphone output, the X1s GT outputs up to 1200mW of power, more than adequate enough to power demanding headphones.
Four Different Drive Modes/Digital Filters
Instead of regular DAC filters, the Aune X1s GT has its own specially designed filter modes with Aune’s self-developed algorithm. They feature two modes for general use, and two specifically for headphones.
Aesthetically Pleasing With A Bold Red Ring-Light
Aune has treated the X1s GT with a special design that features a red light behind the volume wheel. It adds a shade of passion to the device. The X1s still boasts the classic Arc shape design from the X1 series.
