The BC44Pro is engineered with exceptional durability, making it an ideal choice for audio enthusiasts. The short cable connecting to headphone amplifiers often endures significant bending, which can lead to wear and tear, especially at the joint areas (strain relief). To address this, the BC44Pro incorporates an innovative dual-shell structure. The inner shell is molded with the cable, acting like reinforced steel in concrete, to provide strong structural integrity. The outer titanium alloy shell is then reverse-inserted and secured with a threaded lock, offering maximum protection for daily use.
Pro-Level Eight-Strand Braided Wire
The BC44Pro employs the same high-quality shielding wire used in Nyx Pro cables. This specialized wire features a metallic-coated fiber shielding layer, meticulously woven and positioned between the inner and outer insulation layers. The cableโs core is encased in this soft, conductive fiber, enhancing signal integrity and reducing interference.
Floating Shielding with No Ground Connection
The BC44Pro's 4.4mm balanced plug includes a ground line (fifth segment). When connecting a player to a headphone amplifier with a 4.4mm cable, connecting the ground lines would link the ground or chassis of both devices, potentially introducing noise or interference. By contrast, if they remain unconnected, a cleaner setup is achieved. The BC44Pro is designed with independent shielding layers for each signal line that do not connect to the ground. This design effectively prevents ground loops, reducing issues related to charging interference when the player and amplifier share a ground.
