Easy without fatigue. Warm, but still gives a natural sounding timbre to bass instruments without being overblown with bass. Detail-giving with a mid and treble presence that, while mellowed, is still there enough to feel like you can find joy there.
Could there be more air? Sure, but for a warm tuned set that is seemingly intended to be endlessly listenable, it’s a nice thing that they didn’t force the treble up to give that air.
The FUDU is that IEM in anyone’s collection to listen to when you’re tired, or you don’t want any fatigue or discomfort, and you just want to relax AND enjoy music while relaxing. Many warm sets push the bass to the point of hurting immediately or soon into listening, or make you hear the world funny when you’re done listening - the FUDU manages to avoid that almost entirely.
It’s clean, it’s very well done. It’s my current TOP recommendation for anyone starting out in the hobby who likes warmth. It is also a strong recommendation for other experienced audiophiles who want something in their rotation that is just oh so special and easy.
