The original Prestige debuted one of the best utilizations of the electrostatic (EST) driver in the IEM market. With a sustained EST output from 10kHz until 20kHz, the Prestige demonstrated the full potential of the EST driver and the treble extension that it could achieve in the IEM format. However, the high ultra-treble output could strain some listeners.
For this reason, we have modified the EST drivers used in the Prestige LTD to achieve a more pleasant listening experience. The Prestige LTD features the same treble-extension capacity as the original Prestige, with near constant output from 10kHz to 20kHz. However, the high peaks at 12kHz and 15kHz have been eliminated by smoothing out the extension.
The Prestige LTD offers a modified tuning for a more comfortable listening experience, retaining the treble extension while eliminating high peaks that may affect listeners.
With 9 drivers and a 5-way crossover, the Prestige LTD delivers exceptional layering and texture across the entire frequency spectrum.
The Prestige LTD features a more balanced sound signature with tightened bass, clean upper mids, and a natural treble curvature, providing a listener-friendly experience without compromising technical capabilities.

The Thieaudio Prestige LTD is an expensive but fantastic set of earphones. I have to commend Thieaudio for so quickly factoring in user feedback. Many of these changes could be accomplished with a good EQ, so I wouldn’t go out and rebuy this set if you already own the original Prestige, but if you were on the fence, this is certainly the one to buy.

After spending considerable time with the ThieAudio Prestige LTD, it’s clear that the improvements over the original Prestige are subtle but meaningful. ThieAudio has listened to its user base, fine-tuning aspects that make this version not just an upgrade but a refinement. Whether it’s the more controlled upper midrange or the slightly smoother treble, these changes contribute to a more mature and technically proficient sound signature. It’s a rare feat to improve upon something that was already excellent, and yet, ThieAudio has managed to do just that. 9 Drivers, 3 Driver Types, 5-Way Crossover
Like the original Prestige, the Prestige LTD features the same extensive and comprehensive engineering strategy. 4 Sonion electrostatic drivers + 2 Knowles mid-treble balanced armatures + 2 Sonion low-mid balanced armatures + 10mm dynamic subwoofer are used per each side of the Prestige LTD. With an over-engineered 5-way crossover tuning strategy, the Prestige provides extreme layering and texture across the whole spectrum.
More Balanced Sound Signature
The Prestige LTD has a slightly modified tonal signature compared to its predecessor. With modifications to the 10mm Dynamic Driver, the bass shelf has been tightened to 200Hz. With a better controlled and tighter bass, the sub-bass impact is more focused and faster, helping create a cleaner overall sound signature. THIEAUDIO’s classic flat mids are retained in the Prestige LTD to achieve a professional studio-monitor accurate sound. Besides the smoothing of the ultra-treble, the upper mids and trebles have also been cleaned up to provide a more natural treble curvature. In sum, the Prestige LTD provides a more listener-friendly sound signature that is easier to enjoy, while staying true to its professional technical capacities.

These are reall great iems, the SQ is top... They are expensive, but worth every penny...
The Prestige LTD is an iem that delivers a very balanced and spacious presentation. The low end can rumble and slam but it's not a basshead iem. But it is no where near lacking, It'll deliver what the song has, no more, no less. If the music calls for hefty low end, it will give it. The texturing is truly amazing, with great separation between sub and mid bass. Double kicks are clear and realistic. None of that fake boom or mud is to be found. The mids are crystal clear, forward and hyper detailed. The main thing about this iem is how effortless and spacious it sounds. It's not an iem to blast and listen loud. But to sit back and let the music do its thing. You get all the clarity, information, extremely precise imaging, and very spacious staging.... ( I'm looking at you Focal Clear....) for an iem. And yes, for an iem, the staging is big. Heaps of depth and air between vocal and instruments. Layering is amazing. Mids comes through beautifully and clearly, they take a minor step back, but this again helps with positioning and you can hear the vocalist move from the back as they take a step back from the mic or come closer. Truly, detail is exceptional. Treble is smooth with enough energy, never becoming too much or too little. But again, with great extension and detail. Heaps of air but never sounding shrill. You'll notice the extension on both ends, it can go low and very high with a very effortless performance. Is there iems that can be more detailed? Yes. More bass? Yes. Larger staging? Yes. More slam and dynamics? Yes. But will you be spending much more for a small improvement? Yes. Letshuoer Cadenza 12 for an example. It may be an upgrade overall. But maybe a 3% - 4% upgrade, and you may still prefer the tuning of the Prestige LTD... Are you willing to spend nearly 1k more for that. A little eq on the Prestige LTD and call it a day. Elysian Annihilator. It has more bass slam and dynamics. But staging feels less and overall resolution takes a hit compared to the Prestige LTD. It's a more musical listen, but is sacrifice in overall technicalities worth a huge price jump from $1299 USD to $2999 USD, more than double the price!!!! That's only up to you. The Prestige LTD is a endgame iem. Exceptional.
Not what I was expecting based on reviewers, no midrange or treble, blessing 2 Dusk is far superior, complete waste of money
From the unboxing experience to the rich, detailed sound. Everything about the Thieaudio Prestige LTD is sublime!
I’ve now listened to a diverse range of music and this IEM just keeps me listening. It’s so detailed, non-fatiguing to listen to and wear. I did swap out the supplied earbuds for the SednaEarfit Xelastec in a Small-Medium size to suit my ears. Since then I’m truly happy with this high-end IEM after more than 100 hours of listening pleasure.
Amazing sounding IEM’s that are balanced and have amazing layering and texture when it comes to a wide variety of genres. Almost every song I’ve listened to wows me every time. My last earbuds before these where the Moon Drop Variations.
