The Second Generation Planar Driver

The P2 follows its precursor, the highly praised P1, to adopt the new generation Planar driver and the overall balanced tuning. It will be a new success both with its great sound quality and high quality build and form factor. The new P2 features the revolutionary 12-millimeter planar-diaphragm driver with high-resolution, lifelike sound and it will impress the market and the most demanding audiophiles by offering planar in-ear headphones rich in bass response at an affordable.

High Precision Restoration of Sound

The voice coil of P2 is precisely placed to make sure the pressure on diaphragm is even so the sound is highly restored with high resolution. Moreover, P2 works well with complicated single track. The thin diaphragm precisely maintain the details and high definition. This leads to technical specifications being top-notch and to listening experience being pleasant and exciting

Audiophile 6N OCC 2.5mm Balanced Cable.

The P2 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor by offering a state-of-the-art, audiophile-grade superior quality cable and aims for the best quality in audio reproduction. It can greatly enhance the vocals and the instruments in music. The 2Pin connector is widely used in the audiophile industry thus we adopts it for P2 and made a recessed design to protect the pins. It has been improved a lot based on the previous models’ cable.

The Special Tuning

Stainless material is purposely selected for the shell and with the designed inside structure, the sound is less distorted because of the pressure change. P2 possesses a ultra-thin but flexible diaphragm, resulting in extended bass and highs. At the same time, it has a wide soundstage and sound pressure level (SPL) that are comparable to over-ear headphones.

Stainless Steel Shell.

As P1, after times of testing and designing, P2 adopts a stainless steel polished shell with a matte faceplate and a triangular shape along with an angled nozzle to offer comfortable long time wearing experience and elegant looking. The color is also designed to be suitable for audiences as wide as possible. The shells is durable and resistant to everyday use as it has passed rigorous testing and proved to be able to last for years while preserving their shiny appearance.

Earbuds are flawless, but the cable…

The iem sounds amazing with great base extension, but, since the cable connection is a 2.5 mm it breaks easily. If that part were able to be replaced without the need to buy a new cable, like, if it were a modular connector this would be worth every penny I spent on it.

Very transparent with good bass. Vocal is clear and proximal. Very airy. Treble is clear. I don’t find treble too bright. Sound quality very surprising for a IEM. Would recommend for anyone looking for an all rounded IEM.

TinHiFi P2

Pros: Easy fit, great accessories, clear and liquid mid-range, definite improvement on the P1. Cons: treble quite harsh and bass lacking (even when playing from good sources using balanced connection), requires good amplification and EQ to sound best.

Good performer with unusual techniques

The timbric and overall balance are a good step forward from the previous P1, with better bass extension and a warmer sound but at a steep price increase which puts this IEM in a very competitive segment.
Details and soundstage are good but the usual peak in higher frequencies spoil the overall quality: occasional sibilance and excessive forwardness of high treble may be a fatiguing factor for younger users.
This can be fixed with EQ though and the P2 reaches a very good quality.
