Upgraded 14.5mm Planar Magnetic Driver: Building on the success of the original Timeless, the Timeless II introduces an upgraded 14.5mm planar diaphragm—the first dual-sided coated diaphragm in an IEM. Using a specialized silver alloy coating and driven by a powerful dual-sided N52 magnet array, this new diaphragm delivers exceptional responsiveness, pushing planar technology to new heights.

Tunable Nozzle Design: The Timeless II features a tunable nozzle system, inspired by speaker phase plugs, allowing users to adjust ultra-high frequencies to their preference. Different nozzle options provided to offer precise sound adjustments to suit any music library.

Redesigned Driver Enclosure: The new planar drivers are housed in a 7-layer acoustic enclosure with double rear venting and a secure locking system, ensuring balanced, natural tuning. The diaphragm is directly mounted for increased rigidity, stability, and tighter surface tension.

Upgraded Detachable Cable: Equipped with a 4-core ultra-pure 7N single-crystal copper cable and 0.78mm 2-pin connectors, the Timeless II offers enhanced warmth, body, and detail. The detachable cable design allows for easy customization and extended durability.

The 7Hz Legacy

7Hz made a global wave in the past with several of its most popular models. IEMs such as the Salnotes Zero, Dioko, and Timeless gathered massive popularity due to their amazing sound-to-value performance. 7Hz has proven itself to the worldwide audience as a trusted manufacturer of high-performance IEMs, and will continue its legacy with better innovations and stronger community engagement.

Upgraded 14.5mm Planar Magnetic Driver

The original Timeless was one of the benchmark planar driver IEMs when the concept was first started. Since then, we have had much time to re-examine the planar magnetic driver, and innovate more efficient designs. The Timeless II features the latest R&D from our team, with a bigger 14.5mm diaphragm. This new 14.5mm planar diaphragm is the world’s first dual-sided coated diaphragm to be used in the IEM platform. Our in-house coating process layers microns-thick even surface application of specialized silver alloy, which significantly increases the surface tension of the diaphragm. The new diaphragm, which is driven by a strong dual-sided N52 magnet array, is extremely responsive, taking the planar diaphragm concept to a whole new level.

Tunable Nozzle

The Timeless II also features a new tunable nozzle concept, so that the user can adjust their sound preference. This idea is derived from the concept of speaker phase plugs, which allows the extension and adjustment of ultra-high frequencies. We have designed special nozzle shapes, with different materials for precise tuning of the IEM. The different nozzles all provide unique and effective ways to adjust the Timeless II's sound to fit your music library.

Newly Designed Driver Enclosure

The Timeless II’s new planar drivers required a redesign of the acoustic driver enclosure to provide a balanced and natural tuning. With a 7-layer design featuring a double acoustic rear venting system and a more secure locking system, the driver can be more precisely tuned, as well as be more durable and stable. The diaphragm was also directly mounted onto its support structures to provide more rigidity and tighter surface tension within the driver.

Updated Cable

The Timeless II comes standard with our new upgraded cable. The cable is a 4-core ultra pure 7N single-crystal copper cable, with detachable 0.78mm 2-pin connectors. This configuration was specifically chosen to provide additional body and warmth to the Timeless II’s new driver, while enhancing the transparency and details. With the detachable cable design, the user can change the cable to fit their preference, as well as extend the longevity of their IEM.

Have the letshouer s12, 7hz timeless AE, and the FIIO FP3. By far I prefer the timeless 2 as it is more refined and layered than all the others. Love it

The legend is back with new superpowers

The original timeless were some of my first serious iem's. These improve on those in every regards. Definitely worth the wait and the money $$$

find the timeless AE instead

missing the detail and soundstage that the original had. the different nozzles can play around with it some, but ultimately it's still little trade-offs in the eq that fall short. the timeless AE by comparison is more detailed, wider soundstaged, fuller with more forward mids, and louder despite both being around 15ohms. sub bass is bumped higher than the original, that's about it.
on its own merit without comparing it to it's brothers, id say it's totally fine, but definitely not at the price point. i wouldn't pay more than 100 for them. kinda like the eternal, i really wanted to like them, and tried so hard to find the niche or magic combination but they just fall short. such a shame too because they look incredible.

7Hz Timeless 2 is an improved version of the legendary model!

The character of the sound is bright, clean, detailed, with a well-presented sub-bass.
The headphones have a bias towards the upper key.
Headphones like more power, and it is with a powerful source, even if it is budgetary, that they are able to open up and show the scale and filling of the scene.
I used different dac amplifiers and a couple of audio players and came to the conclusion that soft music sources or devices with a neutral pitch would be more suitable for Timeless 2.
Exclude sources with technical sound.

Initially, the vocals attract attention, they have high resolution and clarity of diction.
The performer stands out significantly against the background of the arrangement, the backing vocals are also well emphasized.
The voices of the performers are really lively, the smallest nuances are readable.
The vocals are clear to the point of transparency, as if floating in the air.
Whistling and hissing sounds are highlighted, but do not turn into sibilants.
The stage is quite wide, cone-shaped or trapezoidal, depending on the source.
As the power increases, the atmosphere in the scene fills up, becoming more dense and lively.
The listener is located in the first third of the hall.

The upper frequencies have a silvery color, they are more prone to a cold shade of sound.
There is an emphasis in the area of 8 and after 12 kHz, so the tops are detailed and abundant.
They may seem a little thin at some points, but they sound beautiful.
The percussion and cymbals of the drum kit are heard crumbly-separately, with the presence of the necessary granularity.

The midrange range is very similar to the Simgot ET142
The same impeccable presentation of live acoustic instruments.
An excellent acoustic guitar and an incredibly lively and realistic saxophone.
I would like to add a little physicality to the piano.
Electric guitars on effects are textured and aggressive, as they should be.

Low frequencies, namely sub-bass, deserve special praise.
The infrasound digs deep enough, becoming intelligible already at 20 hz, and specifically declares itself from 25 hz.
It has a pronounced texture and fills the scene with volume.
I want a little more mid-bass to add density to the sound, since the shift in tonality to the upper part of the range concentrates attention on itself.
Nevertheless, the bottom is quite enough and it is really good.
Metal sounds massive, with powerful low-frequency support.
Orchestral works also surprise with the massiveness of the big drum, the sound of which is perceived as rolling thunderclaps.

I recommend 7Hz Timeless II for metal (except classical heavy/hard), any electronics, orchestra, vocal works, folk rock, jazz.
Headphones with a clear, juicy pitch, aimed at fans of bright sound.
They will make great friends with musical, warm and neutral sources.
It's a good model that you can safely add to your collection.

Nozzles?

My Timeless II included a total of four sets of nozzles. There were no instructions or information included in the package. What is the point of all the nozzles and the use case for each?

The cable is bulky, and I'm not a fan of 2-pin connectors.

The sound is good, but I can't tell if they're better then the Timeless in this regard.

My favourite IEM at the moment, just working on trying to figure out what tip to use for comfort and sound, then will move to trying the other nozzles that came with it.
